Miranda Hoffman’s work has been featured at The Public Theater, Centerstage, American Repertory Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre, and the Glimmerglass Opera Festival, among others. On Broadway, Ms. Hoffman designed the costumes for Well. Her off-Broadway credits include Satellites and Well at The Public Theater; Essential Self-Defense, Spatter Pattern and She Stoops to Comedy at Playwrights Horizons; Landscape of the Body at Signature Theatre; Beauty of the Father at Manhattan Theatre Club; Columbinus and Oedipus at Palm Springs for New York Theatre Workshop; and A Very Common Procedure at MCC. Ms. Hoffman’s costume designs in opera include Le Portrait de Manon (Gran Liceu of Barcelona); La Voix Humaine and Le Portrait de Manon (Glimmerglass Opera); and Mirandolina, Lord Byron’s Love Letter and The Village Singer (Manhattan School of Music). Ms. Hoffman is the recipient of the NEA/TCG Career Development Grant and has received Helen Hayes and Henry Hewes Theatre Wing nominations for her work. She is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama.
